Bamboo Forest & Zen Garden
As you stroll along a carefully crafted wooden path, you can hear the soothing sound of the bamboo culms gently clacking in the breeze. The bamboo grove has been in existence for many years, predating its incorporation into Paradise Palms.
While walking through the forest, there are opportunities to take a break midway, where benches are available for relaxation. Alternatively, visitors can engage in the meditative activity of raking the zen garden, adding to the overall sense of calm and mindfulness.
Adding to the artistic ambiance of the place, there is a sculpture created by Marusca Gomez, a well-known Nicaraguan artist. This sculpture is situated near one of the two entrances/exits, contributing to the visual appeal and cultural richness of the bamboo forest within Paradise Palms
Paradise Mountain & Conservatory
Perched atop the tallest mountain in West Delray, this distinct environment within Paradise Palms is tailored to accommodate palms and plants with specific drainage needs. The landscape’s foundation is crafted from soil excavated during the creation of two small lakes, and its character is enriched by the addition of large rocks and boulders. This deliberate design provides an ideal habitat for flora that thrives in well-drained conditions.
Ascending to the summit reveals a panoramic spectacle, featuring an assortment of cacti, diverse trees, and a captivating overlook onto the Conservatory. The Conservatory, a sprawling space, showcases a magnificent banyan tree and incorporates misters that delicately nurture the surrounding plantings. This elevated paradise is a testament to thoughtful landscaping, seamlessly blending diverse elements to create an immersive experience for visitors.
